The Block Island Ferry runs from Point Judith, Rhode Island. The 13-mile journey takes a hour on the large boat. You can brave the winds on the rooftop deck or sit inside and sip a drink while you watch the Atlantic go by as you are transported away from reality to the island. I’ve always been a fan of Edward Hopper and saw the blue tones and ocean beyond and was inspired to mimic the master artist.
